Wet Medium

Pixelated photograph turned into a wing and a cave landscape

These wet media landscapes, all of which are intended for ink jet showings had different origins. Of course they all became pixels in order to get on this blog, My original entry (this last landscape) went from pixels to print and back to pixels, while three of the others began as simple watercolors. The long narrow, second to last landscape required new learning on my part. Tyler budge explained to me how I might change the color of the foreground river using transparent bucket fills (of two colors in this case) to achieve a ore natural color to enhance without clashing. My most familiar art medium is acrlic paints so I was excited furthering my experiences in new directions.
