my working title for this piece is "Large Interacting...". It is made of 4 2X4's Notched and held together with a threaded screw. Over dimensions are 12 feey by 8 feet.
I made a mistake in the angle of the firsst notch and had to buy a replacemment 8 footer.
Overall cost was $40. Hardware cost more than wood. The replacement 2X4 has a visible whitte stamp that was critisized during the critique, it seems to add a realism and simplicity to the piece that brings to viewer closer to the process of making.
Obiviously I see these 1,2, and three spirasl arms everwhere.
Even therse beach scenes contain, at least for me the slowing curve of a spiral arm.
